As an artist, producer and DJ, Newark, New Jersey native Shane Hoosong is a solid
triple threat. Breaking new ground as an innovator in the Pop-influenced Dancehall/Reggae scene, Shane has been making music for over 10 years.

Born of a Jamaican mother and Chinese/Jamaican father, Shane was exposed to some of the most expressive and creative music in the world. Supporting his love for music, he was afforded the opportunity to convert the basement in his home into a studio where he spent most of his formative years focused on a hobby that kept him out of trouble and eventually cultivating into a career. As a teenager, his seemingly effortless ability to use keyboards and computers to create original music and sounds earned him the long-time alias, Supah Shane. Today, at his studio in the renowned Twin Tower Sound headquarters in Newark, New Jersey, Shane works tirelessly to create and perfect his vision.

Shane is currently working with and collaborating with several entities including, Rivernile Ent., Aleada Records, and Tall King Production. With support from his management/promotion team and Leftfield MP, doors are opening as Shane paves the road that 10 years ago was nothing more than a footpath.

Shane’s repertoire includes working with artists such as Dynamq, Esco, Black Ryno, Timberlee, Voicemail, Da’ville, Fyakin, ICandy, Rholin-X and expands to associations with Capleton, Sizzla, Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Elephant Man, Aidonia, Luciano, Terry Ganzie, Reggaeton artist De La Ghetto, Hip Hop artist Jim Jones amongst others.

Shane’s burgeoning career as an artist and producer has led to the development of his production company, Chiney Boy Production LLC. Shane’s first Dancehall/Pop single and video, “Lost in Love” was released in June 2012 and his first album is near complete with the pre-release of two singles “Gimmie Love” and “You & I”.
